My mam, my sister and I have been talking about a few days away for a shopping trip and to see a friend so decided on a trip in the UK.
As I work full time on Ashleigh Money Saver, it is nice to get away for a few days when I can. So after looking at deals for a cheap day trip or getaway I’ve put together my picks. If like me, you are not prepared to let go of summer just yet and fancy booking a last minute get away, then check out some of these bargains I have found just for you!
Last minute getaways
Are you looking for a last minute getaway this year? The Sun £15 holiday offer starts again on 22nd August 2015. This is a fantastic way to get a family holiday that won’t break the bank. My family and I visited Butlin’s with this offer earlier this year and it cost just over £100 for 5 of us for 5 days.
Perhaps you just want a day trip to a theme park? Lightwater Valley is a great little theme park and I have an exclusive voucher code to get you entry for only £16 per person. At the checkout, use code ASH16.
Or why not collect the vouchers from Kellogg’s cereal which give you 2 for 1 in a number of theme parks across the UK? You could split the cost with a friend to make entry cheaper for the both of you.
Why not use loyalty rewards to give yourself a free day out? Timing is perfect right now as Tesco have their boost event on and this doubles the value of your clubcard points. You can redeem them on many days out and holidays, including Butlins, Thorpe Park, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and so many more.
Free London adventure
Why not head to the capital and have yourself a fab, free day out in London?
There are so many attractions you can experience in London for free such as the dinosaur exhibition at the National History Museum, Notting Hill carnival, see the roses in Regents park or simply walk around the many markets London have to offer.
You can hop on board a National Express coach at one of hundreds of pick up points across the UK to enjoy all of these fantastic bargain days out. Not only do they do trips all over the UK and to Butlins, their coaches come with guaranteed seating, the majority are fitted with leather seats, toilets, power sockets, air conditioning and even wifi on selected services. Better still, their services run throughout the day and night.
