Sainsbury’s Recall! Plastic contamination fears.

Sainsbury’s is recalling its 1kg box of own- brand Wholegrain Bran Flakes over fears it could contain small pieces of plastic.

There has been a production fault which has left some of the boxes with the best before date of August 2016 containing the plastic.

The recall notice reads: “It has been brought to our attention that a limited number of packets may contain small pieces of plastic. As a precautionary measure, we are asking all customers who have bought this product to return it to the nearest Sainsbury’s store, where they will receive a full refund. No other products or date codes are affected by this issue and Sainsbury’s apologies for the inconvenience caused to shoppers.”

So if you have any of this cereal at home, refrain from eating it and return to store as soon as possible.
