Iceland Unveils Dedicated Air Fryer Aisle

Hold onto your frying baskets, Iceland is serving up a sizzling hot scoop! Brace yourselves for the mother of all freezer aisle revolutions – they’ve only gone and introduced an ENTIRE section dedicated to air fryer delights! Yep, you read that right – a whole aisle packed with over 250 finger-licking goodies that are ready to be air-fried to perfection.

With the cost of living crisis, we know that every penny counts, so not only are these air fryer friendly products delicious, but they also coincide with the current offers online. For example, you can bag 3 of your favourite air fryer picks and they could be part of the many offers running at the moment. You’ve got so many to pick from it’s practically impossible to pay full price! There’s huge offers like the 3 for £10 or 3 for £5 mix & match offers, the fizzy drink multibuys or the any 7 for £10 easy teas.

Check out my top 3 picks:

Why the fryin’ frenzy, you ask? Well, it’s all thanks to the air fryer obsession that’s taken kitchens by storm! Iceland’s spotted the trend and they’re not just riding the wave – they’re creating an air fryer paradise just for YOU. And, let’s be real, those bills won’t shrink on their own, so why not let your air fryer handle the cooking while you count the savings?

But wait, there’s more!

But wait, there’s more! Iceland’s got your back with air fryer cooking instructions slapped onto a bunch of their mouth watering products. Whether you’re craving Greggs Sausage Rolls or Icelands very own cheese & tomato pizza subs, that make your heart skip a beat, or a sea of other deliciousness, this aisle has you covered.

Oh, but the excitement doesn’t stop there savvy shoppers. Iceland’s not just stopping at one store – they’re test-driving this game-changer at their Food Warehouse in Charlton, London. And guess what? If it’s a hit (which, let’s be honest, it totally will be), they’re going to sprinkle this air fryer magic all across the nation. Can you imagine an entire country diving into the world of air-fried goodness? It’s practically a crispy revolution!

Now, let’s talk numbers. Iceland’s done the homework, and according to their epic Shop Smart, Cook Savvy campaign, a whopping 46% of people  in the UK have joined the air fryer party in the last five years. That’s like half the country saying, “Hey, we want our food crispy and guilt-free!”

There’s a real game-changer you need to know about. Utilita Energy have been crunching the numbers, and switching from an electric cooker to an air fryer can save you an average of £80.50* each year. Cha-ching! Now that’s some serious cash you could spend on more air fryer adventures or, you know, anything else that tickles your fancy.

Our friend, Lorna, over at Feed Your Family for £20 a week has also been crunching the numbers and put together this really handy graphic.

Archie Lasseter, head of sustainability at Utilita, is giving Iceland a massive round of applause. Why? Because this air fryer aisle isn’t just about awesome food – it’s about reducing those carbon emissions too. Iceland’s leading the way in energy-efficient cooking, and they’re showing other supermarkets how it’s done.

So, get ready to fry, save, and devour your way through Iceland’s air fryer wonderland. Your taste buds will be doing cartwheels, and your wallet will thank you.
